The Boston smokemeter and gas analyser modules simply connect to the control platform and can be supplied separately or together. Both are available with the added benefit of wireless connectivity, employing state of the art Bluetooth technology. This allows for components to communicate without cables, providing total flexibility when positioning equipment - a big advantage in any workshop. An optional RF keyboard is also available for remote operation from inside the vehicle.

AGS200 Gas Analyser (click)
The Boston AGS200 is one of the most advanced exhaust gas emission testers in the market today. It's approval in nearly all European countries and highest OIML Class 0 specification make it the biggest selling model in the UK. Small and lightweight, it can carry out a MoT (BET) test in just 3.5 minutes, saving time and money. It also contains an RF wireless receiver AS STANDARD to receive both oil temperature and RPM information directly from our wireless MGT300 Oil Temp / RPM device. Just one of the many proven and extremely well received features incorporated in the AGS200.

OPA100 Smokemeter (click)
The Boston OPA100 is our super fast MoT approved new generation smokemeter. Similar to the AGS gas analyser, it is also approved in nearly all European countries to the highest and latest specifications.
The OPA100 can complete a FAST PASS MoT diesel test in under 3.5 minutes (including printed results), and also contains an RF wireless receiver AS STANDARD to receive both oil temperature and RPM information directly from our wireless MGT300 Oil Temp / RPM device.

AGS688 Gas Analyser (click)
Available from April 2008, the NEW Boston AGS688 is sure to impress. Based on the AGS200 MoT approved model, the internal measurement system is the same, providing high accuracy and fast operation, but with the benefit of being completely self contained.
The AGS688 is ideal for the after-market repair workshop or mobile tuning specialist, for checking, adjusting and pre-testing vehicles prior to the MoT test. It comes as standard with a high quality integrated thermal printer, large backlit LCD displays and with the added flexibility of being able to connect and control the OPA100 smokemeter at any time.

RFC-90 Remote Control (click)
The Boston RFC-90 is our new Radio Frequency PC Remote Control. It has been specifically designed with robustness and ease of use in mind, ideal for heavy use in the busy workshop.
Using radio frequency instead of conventional infra-red enables the RFC-90 to operate without line-of-site. This is a big benefit when operating equipment from inside the vehicle. The user no longer has to exit the vehicle and point the remote at the emissions analyser or braketester, he can simply press the desired button to perform the required operation without moving.
The RFC-90 has an impressive operational range of 15m, better than many infra-red type remote controls. It is simple to install and easy to use. Insert the USB receiver into any available USB socket on the PC, wait 30 seconds and it’s ready to use! Because the control replicates most of the key functions that are found on a standard PC keyboard, simply press the desired key for the desired function.
The keypad contains all the function ‘F’ keys and enables numeric and alpha-numeric text entry. When used with Boston emissions software, virtually the whole program can be controlled using the RFC-90 remote.
Although the RFC-90 has been designed primarily to operate with Boston’s computer software, it can also be used to control any PC running standard Windows 2000/XP/Vista operating systems. This flexibility allows the RFC-90 to operate virtually any PC based equipment, emissions analysers or braketesters, or any other type of equipment in the workshop regardless of the manufacturer!

The Boston design concept is modular, enabling additional options to be simply and economically added at any time. For example, the Boston diagnostics package for over 3000 European and Asian vehicles (including motorcycles) and an oscilloscope engine analyser. Wireless braketester communication is also available enabling a simple, fast upgrade to the new ATL 'One Man Test' from VOSA.
